Visit the Sound Archive Books pop-up bookstore throughout the weekend at the Brooklyn Folk Festival and celebrate the release of Carrying the Song, the new documentary book honoring the life and legacy of Sheila Kay Adams.
Sheila will be joined by members of Nest of Singing Birds, who will be performing throughout the festival and sharing the living tradition of Appalachian ballad singing. Sheila will also make special appearances at the Sound Archive Books booth for book signings and conversations with readers at scheduled times during the weekend.
