Our Projects

What we’re working on

Written first as a song by Sarah McCombie of the band Chatham Rabbits, these 36 pages of paintings make Abigail come alive for readers of all ages.

After over two decades of writing albums, traveling across the United States, and sharing stories wherever the road led, this songbook gathers lyrics alongside reflections from Pierce Eden’s journey. Part archive, part memoir, it captures the lived experience behind the songs.

Sheila Kay Adams: Carrying the Song is a forthcoming biographical book and archive project honoring Sheila Kay Adams in connection with her 2026 United States Artist Fellowship. Blending oral history, archival materials, and her own writing, the project preserves a lifetime of Appalachian ballad tradition while celebrating this national recognition.
