Sound Archive Books (and Million Memory Project) are proud be part of the 138th American Folk Society (AFS) Conference. Sound Archive will have a table at the conference featuring our books and we will be launching our Sheila Kay Adams project as part of this incredible conference. On Thursday night of the conference (October 29) Sound Archive Books will be at Malaprop’s Bookstore as an official AFS book event — with a signing, book talk and reading with 7th generation ballad singer Sheila Kay Adams. Sheila Kay will be signing and discussing her book Sheila Kay Adams: Carrying the Song as part of the conference.
